county selection can someone please explain to me the criteria for selection to play for the county? does surrey have an official stance on this or is it an unwritten rule that determines a players inclusion.

Well i would say if your good enough to play and prove yourself to that level, then you should be given a chance.

Hey Guys,
Not really the best time to be starting a discusion about this sort of thing, eh!!!
We got the most important game of the season next weekend, everyone should be concentrating on that and not worrying about things that are out of their control !!!!!!!
So, let's start worrying about Bucks, and then this sort of thing can be discussed at the AGM !!!!!

there are certain criteria that enable a player to be considered for selection i just wondered if anyone knew if there was a definate reason as to not being selected if they met the afformentioned criteria

As you are part of the selection commitee you should already know what the procedure is and the criteria neccessary when picking players to play for the County.

Yes, the TM does, but after consultation with a couple of others (who actually have a computer :lol: ). Benson used to do it the same way.
