Greensides 16th December 2007 Results Once again we had a great turnout, a lot of regular faces a few more new faces and we also had 3 players who will be playing at The Ladbrokes World Championship at the Alexander Palace on the 17th December the lads have been here for just over a week, (Alan Bolton, Steve Macarthur, Warren Parry and Warren French) Good luck guys. A total of 44 players once again this month a few apologies from some of our regulars who could not make it but will be there on the 6th January 2008 for the next one. Once again it was different names in the money Richie Buckle (beaten semi finalist past 2 months made it to the final by beating newcomer Gary Peake 4.2 in the other semi final it was a welcome return to this young man Alan Casey who has been playing for a few years now he gave it up for a while but he is now back on winning form, he played another newcomer Nags (not his real name), Alan won 4.1 which put him in the final against Richie Buckle. Alan went on to win 5.2 so unlucky to Richie, you have won it before and you will win it again (Richie did not have his own darts). Well done to Kevin Haste who got the furthest out of all the Local Battersea Lads. The winner Alan Casey received £200 Richie won £80 Gary and Nags won £30 and Tricia Wright lost in the quarters so she secured the Furthest lady and won £30. Well done to everyone who made it once again a most enjoyable tournament, thanks to Ozz because without his help of sponsorship we would not have managed to pay out what we did.
