Greensides Knockout Result 06/01/2008
We had a very good turnout this month with many new faces in total we had 65 players and that was our best turnout for months we had 61 men and 4 ladies. Our semi finalists were Lionel Sams Wayne Banks Kevin Riley and Tricia Wright. Wayne beat Lionel and Tricia beat Kevin both the semis were great games. Onto the final between Tricia and Wayne, in which Tricia took the first 3 legs and Wayne came back and took the 4th leg Tricia took the 5th Leg to make it 4- 1 to Tricia however Wayne had other ideas and brought it back to 4 all and in the 9th and deciding leg Tricia made it her second ever win in the Greensides open. Congratulations to everyone that took part and well done to Tricia. Prize money was as follows £230 winner, R/up £100 Semis £30 x 2, Furthest lady £30 Many thanks once again to Greensides the Bar Staff Les and Julie for all their hard work.
