Greensides results 25/11/2007
Well here we go again, another good turnout 44 players turned up and off course quite a few supporters, there were once again a few more new faces, and thanks to all that turned up and to those that travelled a way to get to us, it really is appreciated as if it was not for you guys this tournament would not be able to go ahead and also a great big thanks to Greensides for their sponsorship , Thanks to Julie for doing the food and thanks to all who went on the football card. A special thanks to Dave Goodwin who once again set up the hall and the stage for us to play our darts competition on without the help of Dave we would have to do it all our self and we really do appreciate his kind help. Well once again we had different people in the semi final stages Tricia Wright from Kent Luke Langley from London Richie Buckle from London Tony Ayres from Sussex what a great line up. In the first semi which was between Tricia and Luke last month’s runner up, Tricia secured a win through to the final by 4-2. In the second semi final between Tony and last months semi finalist Richie, Tony booked his place into the final by winning 4-1. Onto the final and what can I say both players played excellent however Tricia was the victor by 5 -1 well done to all 4 players there were some great games. Prize Money pay out, Luke and Richie both received £30 Tony received £85 and off course Tricia also received the Furthest Lady £30 and her winnings were £200 for winning the final. Once again we paid out a lot more and as I have said before, we could not do this without the help of Greensides and from those of you that put money on the footie cards, thanks to everyone once again and look forward to seeing you all on the Sunday 16th December 2007. Please let me know in plenty of time who will be there. As I always state I wish I could mention everyone’s names but you all know who you are and thanks for making this tournament better each month.
