Greensides Results 7/09/2008
Another great turnout at Greensides on September 7th a total of 56 players supported this event! It is such a shame that those who live within the South London Area do not manage to get to this event. This month we had entrants from as far away as Sussex , Kent, Stevenage, Sheppey and Essex to name but a few counties. Once again a few youngsters took part in the competition and little Charlie Little lost in the second round. Unlucky young man but never give up as you are our future in this sport of darts. In the semis another few new faces and it was great to see Kevin Haste a local Battersea lad who played well all day but came up against the inform youngster from Kent Lewis McGurn, Kevin lost 4 nil in the other semi Ross Smith v Clive Barden and Clive won 4-3 onto the final and what can I say there were some brilliant darts thrown by both lads however Clive came out on top by winning 5-3, all I can say it was yet another fantastic display of darts from players. Thanks again to all the staff at Greensides who worked hard with the food and at the bar and who always supports this event one hundred percent.
