Greensides Results for 16th September
Thanks to everyone who made this yet another great day out, a few faces missing due to illness and other commitments, however they shall be along at the next one on the 21st October, thanks once again to all those loyal supporters of this competiton if it was not for you we would not be having it. A special thanks to Dave Goodwin, who has done a great job sorting out the stage the boards etc, we now have 7 boards and we use 3 for the competiton and that leaves 4 practice boards. Thanks to Tricia Wright on starting the tournament once again for me till I arrived. Thanks to Greensides for sponsoring this event without their help then we would not have been able to pay out the prize money as we did, and a big thank you to all who went on the football cards as this helps towards better prize money. Well once again there were a few new faces and yet again another new face was the winner. Furthest lady there was a play off between Lucy Mclay and Tricia Wright, where Tricia was the victor she collected £25, semi finalists were Rob Metcalf from Sussex Ian McNeil from London both collected £25, runner up was last months winner James Allinson from Essex who collected £75 and the winner was Richie Buckle from London who collected £150, well done to everyone, we also managed to have blind pairs knockout for fun and so that we could all socialise and some of us who did not enter the main competiton could have a throw, well I enjoyed the game thanks Gary for carrying me. The runners up who collected £18 were James Allinson and Danny Fleming, the winners were Steve Mead and Rob Metcalf who collected £30.
