Surrey v Oxfordshire
I see that there is a spare place in the B side to face Oxfordshire. 8) It will be interesting to see which reserve will take that final spot, but, just for discussion ... which player that ISN'T mentioned on the team sheet, would you like to see brought into the reckoning? I'll vote for Steve Catt. He may have had differences with Surrey in the past but is in blistering form, and has never ceased to be a friend to Surrey. :)

Players to play for Surrey? It's tough trying to be original because most of them have been mentioned. I have always wanted to see Martin Cullip playing on the stage instead of calling on it. Jason Clark would get my vote.

Dirty Wench- 08-28-2007

So what is the selection then TTO or is it a secret again

Toetheoche- 08-29-2007

I think I heard that Lee Smyth is playing but I can't be sure.

Anyone going to let me know? Dropped from the reserves? That's anew one even for me. john B

From Tony Cartwright via Gumpy; The system at Surrey and other counties has allways been if you don't receive a letter or phone call from the selectors then your not playing Any problems please phone Tony or your county captian. With respect John it's not a good idea to post a comment like that on a Forum just before the first county game of a new season, regardless if you knew the system or not.

I wasn't aware of the system & in NO way mean to upset any of the Current players or reps, whom I have the upmost respect & wish them the best. I will still be playing Super League & trying to get back in. Nobody wants to get dropped John B.

I second you Johnie Boy. I feel that respect to players who have been dropped should be shown. They should be informed as to why they have been left out. How can a player improve if he/she does not know why they have been left out. Although there may be a system in force, players who are left out should really be informed. Just shows though, how much people want to play for Surrey and surely that is a good thing. Same as John, I will always support Surrey and will still attend matches, when I can, to show my support and commitment to a sport that I enjoy and love. All the best to Surrey in the first game and lets kick some A**E.
