Week 24 Prediction League Table
Geezer Takes it to the Wire! After a few lean weeks, the PL leapt back into life with some heavy scoring, none more so than Geezer, who top-scored for a second week running to thrust himself into serious contention for the Title with just 2 week's selections to go. Geezer's 34 point haul brings him level with Gooner at the top, and prompts some important notes for PL players. 1) As the league is so close this year, it is worth stating the rules in the case of a tie. Gooner is currently top by virtue of his superior result total. If that is also tied, position will be decided by the amount of correct scores they have gained. Geezer currently has the edge in that statistic so the top two are very narrowly separated. 2) As in previous years, if any player wishes to keep his predictions safe from potential copying, they can be sent by Private Message to me & I will post them after 8:30pm on the Tuesday. With three players at the top being only a couple of points apart, and with just one prize of £100 up for grabs, it will be quite understandable that they (or anyone else) may wish to use this option. Thesilverfox joined Geezer in identifying 211 as the leg score this week, and a total of 9 players correctly predicted MoMs. As such, scores were healthy, with Geezer, Slug, TTO & thesilverfox all getting 6 correct results. Niknak forgot to predict again, which looks a costly oversight as she drops from 5 points adrift of top spot to 26 points.
