League Record Broken Gumpy's highest weekly total record of 35, that has stood for two years, was smashed this week as Slugger landed an upper-cut by taking 39 points in a very profitable week all round. Slugger landed the 246 legs along with his Andy Nye MoM pick, plus 5 results and 4 correct scores, to leap a massive 9 places into third and contention for the cash prize. He may need to do that again next week to catch niknak though as she had another big gain of 24 points to open up a buffer of 31 over Eye Finisher in second, who had a poor total. The Eye was one of three predictors, along with geezer & SurreyLegs, who missed the 15 point bonus by a single leg. Tubes also racked up 24 points whilst TTO also breached the 20 mark. Nye, Askew & Godbeer gained MoM points for players this week, but a special mention must go to The Falconer who picked himself and duly delivered. In a week of points aplenty, it's difficult to see how The Walrus only managed to net 3 ... but he did!
